Blum High Performance specializes in machining metals and plastics using the latest milling and turning technology, laser marking, assembly, and metrology. Our partnerships with established coating experts allow us to provide product finishing services. With our experience, we are able to meet and even exceed the requirements of our customers and partners from industries including medical, aerospace, optics, telecommunications, and precision engineering. We specialize in machining highly complex parts and meeting tolerances in the single-digit micrometer range, allowing our customers and partners to succeed. Milling Technology

Blum owns highly precise and automated CNC machining centers for dimensions of <1x1x1 mm to 350 x 350 x 300 mm. With available 8-axis machines, we are well positioned to create highly complex geometries and shapes with tolerances ≤ 5µm. A high degree of automation of our systems ensures efficient production for large batch sizes. Blum’s expertise and highly trained machinists makes us a go-to development partner for our customers and ensures we provide quality and efficiency even with lower volumes.

Turning Technology

Our turning technology is just as advanced as our milling. Automated, precision CNC systems equipped with powered tools allows us to machine diameters from <1 to 140mm with maximum geometric complexity and tolerances ≤ 5µm. Armed with automatic bar loaders, Blum guarantees efficient production for even the largest production runs. Our proven track record and continuous training ensure efficiency even for small batch sizes.

Laser Marking

Blum has the equipment and industry expertise to produce the perfect laser marked finish. Our precision beam quality enables the labeling of text, graphics, barcodes, serial numbers, and logos.


Compliance with tolerances and drawing conformity during the manufacture of the individual parts is only one component of the product quality. During assembly, Blum checks dimensional accuracy and fit of each component to ensure final items fit and function perfectly. We work with our customers to refine drawings and tolerances if needed. Blum has the expertise and facilities to assemble products while working closely with our customers to provide highly accurate results. Post-assembly inspection can be tailored to each customer’s individual needs to include functional testing, inspection, and final testing, all with quality control documentation. This enables our partners and customers to simplify logistical processes and significantly reduce delivery times to end customers.
